Partner with Babette

Reach women living with and after breast cancer, with care.

Babette is an independent publication about life with and after breast cancer: beauty, sex, style, work, money, culture and the practical realities of what comes after treatment. We partner with brands and institutions that want to show up for these readers in a way they'll trust.

Why now

Join at the beginning.

Babette is launching this season. Founding partners shape the first season of The Monthly, our first events and the launch of The After, our flagship video and education series.

We won't inflate numbers we don't have yet. Founding partners get founding rates now, and we'll share real subscriber and open-rate figures after our first three months. Early partners keep their rate for the term they sign.

Who reads Babette: women living with and beyond breast cancer, as whole people. Readers, professionals, partners, parents, founders, friends and travelers with lives to live.

Health institutions

Fund education, not advertising.

Cancer centers, health plans, employers and foundations can support Babette's education in ways that keep it independent.

Sponsored memberships

Give the women you serve a full Babette membership: every guide, expert Q&A, events and small-group Circles. You receive aggregate, anonymous reports, never individual data.

Educational grants

Unrestricted grants fund a guide, a syllabus or a season of The After. You get one credit line. You don't review content, choose experts or mention products.

Licensing

License Babette guides and explainers for your patients or members, credited to Babette and kept as published.

Prescription drug, medical device and cancer treatment companies can support Babette only through unrestricted educational grants or licensing, never through advertising or sponsored placements. One company never holds both a brand partnership and an institutional partnership at the same time.

How we work

Our rules come with every partnership.

  • You buy placement, not editorial. No partner picks, reviews or approves a Babette story.
  • Everything paid is labeled. Every paid placement says "Presented by" or "Paid partnership."
  • Reader data stays private. Partners get aggregate, anonymous reporting. We never sell or share an individual reader's information.
  • Health claims are held to a higher standard. Medical content is sourced, and each article says whether a qualified expert has reviewed it. We don't run anything claiming to treat, cure or prevent cancer.
  • We check before we say "clean." No beauty brand is described as clean until its ingredients have been checked.
  • Ties are disclosed. If Babette or its founder has any relationship with a partner, we say so.

Never for sale

  • Women-Owned Wednesday features
  • The Good Stuff, our editors' picks
  • Coverage, reviews or a favorable story
  • Medical claims or expert opinions
  • Our readers' personal information
